DESCRIPTION:During Tsunami Preparedness Week\, April 09-15\, 2023\, participate in Ucluelet’s High Ground Hike. \n \nLaunched in 2016\, High Ground Hike is a community event that’s held every year during Tsunami Preparedness Week\, the second full week of April. The purpose is to raise awareness about B.C.’s tsunami risk and give coastal residents an opportunity to practice reaching their tsunami safe zone. \nJoin us on Saturday April 15\, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Ucluelet Community Centre for Ucluelet’s High Ground Hike! \nWith the help of the University of Ottawa\, we will practice the route to our Tsunami Safe Zones and learn more about Tsunami Preparedness.
